UPW/IWT Piping Sr. Technician - WelderThe Sr. Technician:Knows how to prioritize daily tasksAble to work with little to no supervision on new projects or assignmentsMust have good understanding of equipment/processesShould demonstrate adaptabilityEffective communication skills to communicate with customer and supervisionUltra-Pure Water (UPW) and Industrial Wastewater (IWT) team is responsible for providing continuous, safe and high quality utilities to our Fab. At our water and wastewater plants on the Samsung Austin Semiconductor campus.Education and Experience* High School Diploma or equivalent and technical school certification preferred (State Plumbing License or equivalent)* Typically requires 5+ years of experienceRequired Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipmentAs directed, assembles pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, or welding equipmentExtensive knowledge of Poly Pro/PVDF piping and weldingAbility to read and understand printsDiagnose piping issues and correct in the fieldApplicants must be legally able to work for ANY employer in the United States.
