Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job
Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.Minimum Requirements:Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field, or completion of an accredited MLT program. Bachelor's degree acceptable where required by client.MLT or MLS ASCP certification required. Eligible candidates by a nationally recognized certification agency will be considered if acceptable to client.BLS certification required.Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical laboratory experience required. Experience in high-volume hospital environments required.Extensive core lab experience required, including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation.Experience with Sunquest Laboratory Information System required.Experience with the following instruments preferred: Roche PRO chemistry systems, Sysmex XN hematology, Siemens UN3000 urinalysis, Stago Compact Max coagulation.Ability to perform quality control, troubleshoot instrumentation, and assist with training of new staff.May be required to float within the local market. Typical schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with every third weekend and every other holiday rotation.Assignment Duration: 26 week travel contract.Dress Code: Maroon/wine tops and maroon/wine, black, or dark grey bottoms.Orientation: Rolling start (can start any week).Location HighlightsGreenville, SC offers a blend of urban amenities and outdoor recreation within short drives.
