T he Emergency Department at Penn State-Holy Spirit is a 31 bed, Level 2 Trauma Unit. As a busy unit, the ED sees an average census of about 116 patients a day. Taking both experienced RN's as well as new grads, the ED is a great place to learn quickly in a fast paced environment.T he RN Registered Nurse assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. M INIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: G raduate of an accredited school of nursing requiredA ctive RN Registered Nurse license in the stateB LS required P REFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: S Ix Months RN Experience Preferred W HY PENN STATE HEALTH?
