The Vice President (VP) of Marketing oversees Zirrus’ marketing strategy and department. They are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and grow revenue. They also lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, and collaborate with senior leadership to define marketing goals, priorities, budgets and new product offerings.Essential Job FunctionsMarketing strategy: Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to improve brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and increase revenue aligning with the overall business strategic objectivesBrand awareness: Increase brand awareness through a cohesive marketing planMarket analysis: Analyze the market for existing products, study trends, and monitor campaign performanceBudgeting: Analyze data to develop the marketing department's budget, including requests for staff, software, advertising space, and promotional merchandiseCampaign supervision: Oversee all marketing campaigns and improve them when possibleCompetitor tracking: Track competitor activitiesTeam leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and professional growth Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesTen years of marketing experience and five years of management experienceWorking knowledge of SEO, web analytics, and Google AdwordsExperience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniquesStrong leadership, communications, analytical, and project management skillsStrategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisionsProven history of Critical Thinking capabilityWork with and collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to assist in developing strategic plans and meeting overall corporate objectivesEducation And ExperienceBS degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field MBA or Master’s Degree in a Marketing related field preferrred
