The primary responsibility of this role is to complete basic data entry, scanning and indexing various source documents into a document imaging system for storage, processing, and data management purposes within the public sector.What You'll DoPrepare documents for digitalization by separating a variety of records to prep for their indexing subtypeOperate scanning equipment to convert paper documents into digital formats, ensuring clarity and readability of scanned images, as necessaryAccurately index and categorize digital documents within the imaging system, adhering to established naming conventions and organizational standardsImplement document retention policies, ensuring compliance with designated retention schedules, as necessaryPerform quality checks on documents to validate the document was received in the proper formatEnsure the security and confidentiality of all digital records, following data protection regulationsMaintain assigned office equipment in a clean and professional mannerWork closely with managers and team members to ensure that all necessary documentation is collected, indexed, and maintainedWhat You'll NeedHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience with Microsoft Suite applications or equivalentExceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracyStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information to team members and managersFamiliarity with document imaging systems and related softwareDemonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorTransportation to/from office, dependable and on-timeBe available to work a minimum of one Saturday a month, if necessaryPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etcAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard$17.00 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
