Cage Cashier (Swing Shift) - Lincoln

Cage Cashier WarHorse Gaming, a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc. Location: Lincoln, NE Job Type: Full-time Swing Shift; schedule varies based on property needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.The Cage Cashier is responsible for safeguarding company assets, accurately balancing assigned cash drawers, and providing financial services to guests in a professional and courteous manner. This position processes chip redemptions, ticket payouts, check cashing, and other transactions, while supporting player club services and maintaining compliance with gaming regulations and company procedures.Key responsibilities include safeguarding company assets and following all internal control standards, accurately balancing assigned bank at the beginning and end of each shift, processing guest transactions including cashing chips, gaming tokens, and TITO vouchers, redeeming slot machine payout tickets and vouchers for cash or cash equivalents, cashing personal and travelers checks, performing debit card and EFTPOS cash advances, conducting rolling chip exchanges, issuing and replacing player club cards, assisting guests with club issues, and providing player rewards information, maintaining accurate and legible balance sheets and transaction records, assisting Cage Supervisor in maintaining accurate shift records, maintaining confidentiality of all internal activities and sensitive information, providing professional, courteous customer service in all guest interactions, and performing other duties as assigned.Required qualifications include being 21 years of age or older, having a high school diploma, GED, or relevant experience, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred experience includes previous experience in gaming or banking operations.The work environment and physical requirements include frequent movement across casino floor and Cage area, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform prolonged standing and walking, exposure to secondhand smoke, noise, and standard gaming environment conditions, use of hands, fingers, and fine motor skills for cash handling and computer tasks, and regular use of verbal, written, and non-verbal communication for guest and team interactions.This is a full-time position. Team members must be able to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet property business needs.WarHorse Gaming is a Drug-Free Workplace.
