This pivotal role bridges the gap between business objectives and technical execution driving solution design, engineering best practices, and hands on delivery of complex, scalable, and reliable systems. You will lead, by example, mentor engineers, guide architecture decisions, and ensure technical solutions are aligned with both business needs and technology strategies.This role is also expected to oversee development lifecycle, manage customer implementations, and ensure successful delivery of our platform while handling customer communications and delivery expectations.Responsibilities:Lead and manage the technical execution of projects, ensuring timely, high-quality, and scalable software delivery.Collaborate with architects and senior technical stakeholders to understand and implement architectural guidelines and high-level designs.Translate product and business requirements into actionable technical tasks, stories, and sprint plans in coordination with product owners and engineering heads.Provide hands on technical leadership, actively participating in coding, code reviews, debugging, and complex problem solving alongside the team.Guide and mentor developers on best practices in software development, code quality, unit testing, and maintainability.Make informed decisions about technical approaches, frameworks, libraries, and tools appropriate to project needs.Drive the implementation of APIs, backend services, cloud-native components, and integrations with third-party systems.Work closely with QA and DevOps to establish efficient CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and automated testing frameworks.Proactively identify technical risks, blockers, and improvement opportunities, and collaborate with the team to resolve them.Ensure the team follows coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization guidelines.Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, agile practices, and team productivity initiatives.Stay current on new technology trends and assess their practical value for ongoing and future projects.Plan, manage, and execute customer implementations from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and business objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of customer requirements into the product roadmap and development processParticipate in technical interviews, onboarding, and talent development initiatives within the team.Requirements:12+ years of overall technical experience in software development, with strong hands-on skills in backend, API, and/or full-stack developmentMinimum 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading engineering teams, providing technical guidance, and ensuring high quality software delivery.Strong track record of bridging business needs with technical executionExperience in lead and mentor a team of software engineers in Agile-based development methodologies, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practicesUnderstanding architecture and design principlesStrong technical background in multiple technologies; preferred tech stack can be MEAN; should have hands-on experience as well in some technologies.Experience with user authentication and authorization models and frameworks (e.g., OAuth, JWT).Experience with server-side programming and building scalable, high-availability, mission-critical platforms.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.Excellent code documentation and knowledge transfer skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skillsClient-facing experience with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels Good to have:Knowledge of AI, NLP, ML, and chatbot technologies.Experience integrating with NLP engines and ML frameworks.Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with performance testing and optimization of large-scale systems.Experience with Reporting & Analytics as well as Systems Integration Experience in product development, preferably Mobile and SaaS.Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.Experience with SOAP web servicesEducational Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred).
