About the RoleLoudoun United FC is seeking a professional, detail-oriented individual to join our matchday team as a Matchday Merchandise Associate. Reporting directly to the Merchandise Manager, this part-time role is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about soccer and retail who takes pride in delivering a premium fan experience. As a frontline representative of the Loudoun United brand, you will play a key role in ensuring supporters enjoy a seamless and welcoming retail experience on every matchday. Additional hours beyond matchdays may be available for the right candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent Loudoun United FC professionally, greeting and assisting supporters in a courteous and knowledgeable mannerOperate point-of-sale systems accurately, processing cash, card, and mobile payment transactions with precisionMaintain a visually appealing, well-stocked, and organized merchandise area throughout each home fixtureSupport the setup and breakdown of the retail location before gates open and after the final whistleDevelop a thorough understanding of current merchandise offerings, promotions, and pricing in order to assist supporters effectivelyAddress customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly, upholding a high standard of fan satisfaction at all timesWork collaboratively with the Merchandise Manager to ensure smooth, consistent game day operationsAdditional Hours (As Available)Beyond matchdays, there may be opportunities to take on additional hours supporting the broader merchandise operation, including:Receiving and unboxing new merchandise shipmentsConducting inventory counts and organizationJersey pressing and preparationAssisting with the club's Shopify online store, including product listings, order fulfillment, and general upkeepQualificationsPrior retail or customer service experience preferred, though not requiredStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanorAbility to perform accurately and calmly in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentSolid numeracy skills and attention to detail when managing transactionsReliable, punctual, and available to work evenings and weekends in alignment with the Loudoun United home fixture scheduleAbility to attend the majority of Loudoun United FC home matches throughout the seasonFamiliarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is a plus but not requiredAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as requiredWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.Job Questions:Are you currently located in the Loudoun/Northern Virginia area?Are you available to work evenings and weekends in line with our home match schedule?Please briefly describe your current situation (e.g. student, currently employed, etc.)Do you have any prior retail or customer service experience?
