An international freight forwarding company is actively seeking a Senior Export / Import Agent to join their facility near DFW airport.Responsibilities of Senior Export / Import Agent – Freight ForwarderPrepare documents for Air and Ocean Export or Import operations in a timely manner with appropriate procedures and guidelinesBe responsible for A - Z logisticsManage cargo in case of emergency and ensure routes will be corrected in timely mannerCommunicate with clients and provide Logistics Customer ServiceCommunicate with shipping companies, truckers, and other vendors, and arrange pick-up and deliveryMaking arrangements for domestic railway/trucking shippingAssist warehouse operations if necessaryOther duties as assignedQualifications of Senior Export / Import Agent – Freight Forwarder5 years of experience in International Import or Export operation in freight forward industryHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the teamAbility to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environmentExcellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task and perform duties efficientlyTeam-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivatedProficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially ExcelWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds, lift in excess of 30 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
