Job Details: Profession: Nurse Practitioner Specialty: Family Practice Location: Near Seattle, WA Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend Shift Details: Day shifts, 5 days a week, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Schedule: Monday-Friday Work Details: Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, with most clinics having an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator for administrative support. Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Patients per Day: Up to 18 patients scheduled per day; may vary depending on cancellations and walk-ins. Patient Population/Age: Newborns to Geriatrics. Comfort with diverse age groups and experience with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, preferred. Department Description: Community Health Center offering outpatient ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, and chronic disease management. Interpretative services available onsite. EMR: EPIC Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care. Skills Required: Must be able to work independently and handle a high patient volume. Onsite orientation provided with a 1-week ramp-up period. Practice Setting: Setting: Outpatient ambulatory setting - Community Health Center Travel Logistics: Travel Reimbursement: Includes flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging. Requirements: Board Certification: Required State License: Active WA license required. Will not consider non-licensed candidates. DEA: Active WA DEA required Certifications: Required certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc.) will be discussed at the time of credentialing. Minimum Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience as an FNP with recent face-to-face patient contact within the past year. Clean background and no malpractice history required.
