School Bus DriverTo help provide safe and efficient transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district's curriculum and extracurricular program. Performance responsibilities include observing all mandatory safety regulations for school buses, maintaining discipline when students are on bus, reporting undisciplined students to the proper authority, keeping assigned bus clean, keeping to assigned schedule, exercising responsible leadership when on out-of-district school trips, transporting only authorized students, and assisting the school bus driver with the safety and care of students during transportation to and from school, as required by the individual education plan (IEP). Minimum application requirements include three letters of recommendation from previous employers, fingerprint clearance card, and background check. This is an open and continuous posting. Applications will be considered when a vacancy occurs at any site.
