Maintenance Manager

Job description: Job DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance ManagerDepartment: MaintenanceLocation: USA - CharlestonJob Summary: Maintains facility maintenance department to encompass allmaintenance functions facility-wide. Responsible for maintenance andrepair of material handling equipment, security and all annualinspections.Essential Functions:Maintains building and material handling equipment for day-to-dayoperationsResponsible for PM maintenance schedules; cost tracking andequipment usageMaintains and implements a safe working environmentResponsible for facility housekeeping requirementsEnsures compliance with all governmental agencies regardingmaintenance initiativesNegotiates and re-negotiates service contracts with vendorsResponsible for acquiring quotes for plant projectsEstablishes and maintains Maintenance Department budgetMaintains security system, team and camera systemsWorks with IT and Engineering department on facility-wide projects;will be responsible for interfacing with other departments locatedon-site on a regular basisSupports management in on-time deliveries, projects and overallgrowthPerforms other duties as assigned to meet business needsEducation and Experience:University degree + Minimum of 8 years of relevant and managerialexperienceORUniversity degree + 10 years of relevant experienceKnowledge requirement(s):| | Technical, Professional, and Global Business Knowledge: | || | Specific knowledge allowing to perform specialized or technical | || | work.
