Survey Crew Chief

TWM is seeking an experienced Geospatial Crew Chief to support our Peoria, IL office. We are looking for driven individuals interested in learning and using the latest technology to provide innovative solutions to our clients.Experience Level: 3+ years preferredSchedule: Full-time, 40 hours / week, with the possibility of overtimeLocation: Based in Peoria, ILSalary: $60,000-$80,000 – Salary is commensurate with experienceEssential job functions: Perform mathematical calculationsRead/comprehend plansUse robotic total stations and GPS equipmentPerform various survey-related tasks (e.g. ALTA, boundary, topographic surveys, and construction layout)Work outdoors in all weather and often as a 1-person crewQualifications Desired: Prefer prior experience as a Crew Chief but may consider Instrument Person with enough knowledge and ability to move into a Crew Chief position now.High school diploma required. Associate of Science degree in a relevant field is a plus.Strong competency in mathLand Surveyor-in-Training a plusProficiency in Trimble equipment and Trimble Access a plusFAA Part 103 license and UAV experience a plusHigh-Definition Laser Scanning experience a plusTeam-oriented and self-motivatedAbility to learn quickly and work independentlyWillingness to work hard and efficientlyAttention to detailValid driver's license requiredAbility to pass drug/alcohol test and background check is requiredBenefits Summary:Competitive salary and fringe benefits with exceptional bonus incentives.
