Assistant Program Manager
Mount Prospect Academy – Hampton, NH
Salary: $45,000–$55,000 annually (based on experience)

Mount Prospect Academy (MPA) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Assistant Program Manager (APM) to support our residential treatment program for adolescents. In this hands‑on leadership role, you’ll help guide daily operations, support staff, and engage directly with youth making a meaningful impact every day.

Founded in 2003, MPA is a nonprofit alliance serving adolescents across New England who face complex mental health challenges. Our mission is to provide a safe, therapeutic environment where youth build confidence, life skills, and a renewed zest for life.
Schedule
Sunday–Thursday
Sunday: 10 hours
Monday & Tuesday: 12:00–8:00 PM
Wednesday & Thursday: Flexible hours
What You’ll Do
Support the Program Director in daily program operations
Supervise and mentor Youth Counselors
Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging residential environment
Coordinate recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities
Build positive, professional relationships with youth
Ensure accurate documentation, scheduling, and communication
Support staff training and onboarding
Use trauma‑informed behavioral management and crisis intervention skills
Collaborate with clinicians and program stakeholders
Ensure facility safety, cleanliness, and transportation needs are met
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Compassionate, team‑oriented, and dependable
Ability to work effectively in a high‑energy, high‑stress environment
Creative, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented
Comfortable using computer systems and written documentation
Qualifications
21 years or older
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or 60 college credits), or
High school diploma/GED plus qualifying experience per NH Child Care Licensing Regulations
