Our bright, modern, and efficient service shop is one of the best in the industry, and we're growing!We're looking for a Senior Wake Boat Marine Technician who shares our passion for boating, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship while delivering exceptional customer service, to join our team and help us to keep our customers on the water! This team member should bring with them industry experience, manufacturer certifications, and a clear path for advancement.As a Wake Boat Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining wake boats. You will work on a variety of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and ensure all boats are water-ready and performing at peak condition.What You'll Do:Perform seasonal maintenance (winterization, spring prep)Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, impeller replacements, and fluid checks.Perform diagnostics and repairs on inboard engines, drive systems, ballast systems, electrical wiring, and onboard electronics.Troubleshoot and repair surf systems, touchscreen interfaces, and other wake-specific features.Inspect and prep new and used boats for deliveryBuff and recondition trade-in boatsConduct tests and on-site service callsSupport fellow technicians with hands-on helpKeep your workspace clean and organizedConduct lake tests and water trials when necessary.Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with service advisors and customers.Stay up to date on manufacturer training and certifications.What You Bring:Minimum 2 years of experience as a marine technician, preferably with inboard and wake boats.Certification from major engine manufacturers (e.g., Mercury, Indmar, PCM, Ilmor, Volvo Penta, etc.) is a plus.Strong understanding of 12V electrical systems, CAN bus networks, and marine electronics.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learnFamiliarity with Computer Diagnostic SoftwareHigh school diploma or equivalentYour own hand tools (we provide advanced diagnostic equipment)Valid driver's licenseAbility to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasksCan pass a background check and drug screenPerks & Benefits:Competitive Salary: $60$80,000+ depending on experienceYearly Performance Bonus$8,000 Sign-On BonusPaid Relocation Assistance6-Month Housing AllowanceAnnual Tool AllowanceExcellent benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), paid vacation/personal timeTraining & advancement: Paid certifications, online & in-person trainingEmployee discounts on products and servicesFun, family-oriented culture and outdoor recreation perksSchedule:MondayFriday, 8 AM5 PMSome Saturdays and overtime as neededWhy Minocqua, WI?Just one mile south of the "Island City," Gage Marine is surrounded by more than 3,200 lakes, ponds, and streamsmaking this region one of the largest freshwater destinations in the world.
