Assistant Grinding Operator (2nd Shift)
Job Description:This role is capable to assist in operating the grinding lines with safety compliance, quality and food safety compliance. Manage the GMP/GHP and overall safety requirements within the area. This will be a 2nd shift role. Operating and monitoring grinding line according to production plan Raw ingredient quality inspection Maintain raw ingredient inventory levels and daily inventory reporting Responsible for the hygiene of the grinding area Can do basic maintenance of equipment in line with AM Complete production reports and handover Support MSE deploymentWhat are we looking for?High school, GED or aboveHave work experience in food or feed industryAccept irregular working hours and overtimeGood communication and teamworkMicrosoft Office1-3 yrs of experience in manufacturing setting required3 - 5 yrs experience in manufacturing setting preferredKnowledge of basic manufacturing processes and proceduresUnderstanding of major functions within the plant and the ability to work directly with individuals at all levels and functions.What will be your key responsibilities?SafetyFollow safety rules and Royal Canin policiesStop any equipment / operative works / external company works if safety/environment protection/fire protection rules are brokenSupport & promote plant safetyCommunication and InformationParticipate in CP handover meetingsCleanliness and TidinessDefine and share with QFS the cleaning programs Perform Housekeeping Checks to ensure compliance to 5SResponsibilitiesPreparation for start-up Manage the process to the production plan Shutdown and cleaning Collaborate with forklift drivers to ensure stable supply of raw materials HRCI Inventory of RM 5S and daily cleaning tasks in the area Support and execute AM responsibilities Any task as delegated by Shift ManagerHuman ResourcesSupport E&T activities in your area Attend training as scheduledQuality and Food SafetyFollow Royal Canin standards and working procedures Support the site HACCP program Ensure GMP-GHP ‘s in the plant Maintain any CCPs, OPRPs, or PRPs in the department Describe and report non-conformities.
