Event Staff / Event Security Two Step Inn Music Festival 2026 - Georgetown TX5 STAR Event Services is adding to our Security & Event Services team for the 2026 Two Step Inn Musical Festival in Georgetown, TX. Check out our current Event Calendar here: www.5starstaff.com/calendar Description: Event Staff/Security Guards are responsible for the safety and comfort of all clients, guests and other employees. Duties: Enforce and uphold the integrity of public and private areas of the venueMonitor entry and exit points to specific areas of the venuePerform routine search procedures including bag searches and screening of guests and their tickets, bags, credentials, etc. prior to guest entry to ensure that no prohibited items enter the venueGreet and direct guests to seating areas and various servicesMaintain open and smooth access routes of patron/vehicle walkwaysReceive and act on complaints from patrons according to policies and proceduresEnforce all policies and procedures throughout the facility and report any suspicious behaviors or activityAide in the direction of orderly evacuation of the building during emergenciesProvide security escorts per event requirements Qualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalentAt least 18 years of ageReliable forms of communication and transportationLEVEL 2 SECURITY: Texas Non-Commissioned Guard Card (Level II Training & Exam provided for free. All applicants are required to apply, pass exam, submit to fingerprinting, and criminal background check.) Skills and Abilities: A strong customer-service attitude and professional appearancePossess excellent written and oral communication skillsThe ability to understand and interpret credentials, documents, signs, rules, policies, and instructionsThe ability to communicate effectively with clients, patrons and other employeesThe ability to multi-task, cross-train and learn new skills quicklyThe ability to remain calm and level-headed under high-pressure situations Physical Requirements:Full physical and mental dexterity with the ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, hear, see and speak English clearlyThe ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time (shift duration)The ability to lift 25lbs. Work Environment: Elevated noise levels. Athletic and musical events can be very loud and employees must be prepared to be exposed to increased noise levels.
