Set up and operate specific Laminating Machine according to company laminating procedures and guidelinesIdentifies and ensures that proper materials are used for production and manages pre-run testing of the materialPerform all required quality checksLoad and unload material from the laminators using defined equipment Follow the production schedule as issued by production controlFollow equipment and workplace cleaning/sanitation procedures.Perform daily and periodic preventative maintenance duties specified for assigned machines/equipmentReport all Quality and Food Safety Violations to managementNon-essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties as assigned Turns on auxiliary and other equipment as neededJob Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to read rulers, understand gauges and use a micrometerTesting of equipmentMust have good judgment with decision making in regards to Safety and Quality Ability to work additional overtime if required to get the job tasks completed Experience And EducationMachine Operator experience preferredHigh school diploma or GEDWORK ENVIRONMENTMostly on the production floor with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Handling of adhesives and cleaning solventsSome mandatory overtimeCleaning area daily to maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Ability to lift up to 50lbs.While performing the duties of this job the employee is around moving mechanical parts and vibration.ePac believes in a collaborative and cross trained workforce and encourages employees to learn all facets of production. ePac is an equal opportunity employer.
