Special Ed Teacher | Worcester, Massachusetts

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Worcester, MA, supporting inclusion students in an elementary school setting. This contract role offers a structured schedule of 32.5 hours per week, from 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM, with a start date as soon as possible and continuing through December 23, 2025.Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of 14-15 inclusion students, providing individualized support and instruction.Collaborate with general education staff to create inclusive learning environments.Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings regarding student progress.Follow all school policies and state regulations for special education.Engage with students onsite at the elementary school location.Support bilingual students; Spanish speaking preferred but not required.Qualifications:Current Massachusetts teaching license or certification in Special Education.Prior school-based special education experience is essential.Ability to work onsite full time during scheduled hours.Completion of a CORI background check and fingerprinting is required; candidates may be able to use a letter of suitability from a previous employer.Comfort with virtual interviews conducted via Zoom.This position offers a rewarding opportunity for educators dedicated to supporting diverse learners in an inclusive setting.
