We are seeking an experienced (4-5 years) civil litigator for our General Liability Practice Group and Toxic Tort Practice Group. Successful candidates will have exceptional research, writing, and litigation skills. xaygatp Job Duties and Responsibilities:Proactive case management from start to finish in both state and federal courtsDrafting of pleadings, written discovery, motions, and research thereforeFrequent client communications and reportingComprehensive legal analysis, case evaluations, and strategy recommendations Expert witness coordination and collaborationDeposition, court hearing, and mediation attendanceTrial preparation and attendanceQualifications: J.D. degree from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice in Texas (other states a plus, but not required)4-5 years litigation and Toxic Tort experience in both state and federal courtsDemonstrated ability and desire to manage caseload proactively from start to finishStrong work ethic, ability to self-manage and work in a team environmentStrong research ability, written and oral communication skillsStrong organization and problem-solving skillsDesire to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to continued client development
