Join the Jet Team today!Wage: Depending on experience.Benefits At Jet IndustriesCareer-building opportunities & growth potential.A diverse internal training program, Jet University.A safety-first, family-like workplace.Paid-Time-Off (PTO).Affordable Medical/Vision & Dental coverage.Retirement Program 401k Matching (up to 3%)The company provided shirts & PPE.Performance-based bonus potential.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLayout product for installation, stage tools, and execute basic piping installation jobsRead and understand fire sprinkler blueprintsEmploy safety measures while installing a fire safety systemPerform tasks, measuring, marking, cutting, and threading pipe for installationConnect fittings and sprinkler heads to the pipe, then test the system to ensure there are no leaks Keep abreast with the latest developments in fire sprinklers, NFPA fire sprinkler codesDocument all details of the workMinimum Qualifications And ExperienceDemonstrate a working knowledge of toolsCR-16 preferedHigh level of precision workmanshipWillingness to learn about fire sprinkler systems and fire sprinkler codesStrong eye for detailAbility to understand blueprints, stock lists, and inventoryExcellent judgment and analysis skillsMust be highly organized, systematic, and adhere to construction deadlinesSteel experience, including cutting, threading, and grooving black steel pipeCPVC experience, including cutting, reaming, welding, and hanging CPVC pipeAccess and ability to check work email during working hours (smartphone or tablet) - The company provides a $10 stipend for data charges.Basic Proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on-site effectively.
