Mobile App Developer

Grid Elevated is looking for a Part-Time Mobile App developer to work on innovative projects for smart energy systems operation. The Mobile App Developer will work on a team to contribute to both existing and new applications. The Mobile App Developer will have an opportunity to work in a variety of software and coding environments interfacing with cloud services and hardware. Grid Elevated is looking for a passionate individual excited to work on an innovative team as the power grid transforms. Essential Duties: Develop new functionalities in SwiftUI and Kotlin for existing mobile apps Closely collaborate with team to design and implement updated UX/UI Oversee deployments and releases on iOS and Android devices Collaborate in a team environment to develop features under a sprint approach Passion for agile development and meeting biweekly release schedules This is a part-time position for up to 30 hours a week The position requires in-person work at least once a week, with the main location in Salt Lake City, UT Skills and Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with SwiftUI and Kotlin 2+ years of experience with Android and iOS release procedures and requirements Experience integrating payment features (preferred experience with Stripe) Experienced in mobile app design, implementing cohesive style Experienced in interfacing with APIs, general back-end literacy Experience with Skip.tools (preferred) Familiarity with general mobile app cybersecurity practices Experience with collaborating in a team environment, Github proficiency Comfortable working on different projects and capable of learning new skills and applying them in a meaningful way Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering 2+ years mobile app development experience Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: Choose your own hours Ability to Commute: Salt Lake City, UT 84108 (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Salt Lake City, UT 84108
