This role is ideal for someone passionate about workplace safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure full compliance with federal, state, local, and company safety regulationsConduct daily facility inspections and monitor adherence to OSHA guidelinesContinuously improve safety programs to achieve a zero-harm goalObserve and evaluate departmental safety auditsLead safety orientations, certifications, and hands-on trainingManage emergency action plan training and implementationFacilitate safety committee meetings and oversee safety project teamsMaintain accurate safety records and training documentationCoordinate with external vendors (e.g., fire systems, waste brokers, safety supplies)Maintain the incident database and ensure timely monthly safety auditsKeep all safety binders and documentation up to datePerform other duties as assignedMust have PPE and steel toeSkills & QualificationsOSHA 30 certification requiredMinimum 6+ months of safety experience in a manufacturing settingForklift, Scissor Lift, and Lock Out/Tag Out training experienceStrong communication skills (verbal & written)Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of problem-solvingAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesProfessional demeanor under pressureBilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferredProficient with computers and safety documentation systemsEMT CertifiedWork Environment50/50 split between office and warehouse/shop settingsExposure to varying climate conditions and airborne particulatesModerate to high noise levels in plant areasUse of standard office equipment and issued safety gearLocation:Baytown, Texas
