Senior Account Executive
The Senior Account Executive is a confident, independent operator who owns their accounts from the ground up. In this role, you're not just executing — you are owning key parts of the account. You manage client relationships directly, help drive media pivots to strategy, pitch proactively, and bring creative thinking to everything you do. You spot problems before they become issues, come to the table with solutions, and help elevate the work of the people around you. You're the kind of person who follows brands closely, thinks critically, and isn't afraid to share a bold POV.What You'll DoServe as the primary day-to-day client contact for your accounts — managing email communication, ad hoc calls, and cross-functional alignmentWrite press releases and press materials efficiently and accuratelyBuild and execute proactive media strategies, including pitch pivots to keep press results fresh and on-targetSecure 3-4+ earned media placements per client per month, matched to each client's target audience — plus at least one Full Share of Voice story per client per quarter and one national broadcast segment per client per yearResearch, identify, lead outreach and coordinate client media opportunities end to endCreate media briefing documents and manage interviews on behalf of clientsKeep client dashboards updated daily with secured and live press and sample requestsContribute to client decks, PR plans, award submissions, bylines, and proposals with a strong first draft that requires minimal reworkLead designated sections of client calls, contribute to agency brainstorms, and bring two strategic brand case studies to leadership annually to demonstrate 360 thinkingInformally guide and support Account Executives and Account Coordinators on the teamWho You AreIndependent and proactive — you manage your own timelines, deliverables, and checkpoints without needing to be escalated toA solutions-first communicator: when you bring a problem, you bring a recommendation alongside itSomeone who spots risks early and flags them before they become bigger issuesA strong writer and strategic thinker who produces high-quality work with minimal revisionsDeeply curious about your clients' businesses, industries, and the broader media and consumer landscapeComfortable and confident building relationships with journalists and media contactsCollaborative and generous with your knowledge — you help others grow without being askedWhat You Bring3–4 years of relevant public relations experience working in an Agency setting A BA in Mass Communications, Public Relations, or a related fieldStrong pitching, media relations, and client-facing communication skillsThe ability to manage multiple accounts and workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentProfessionalism, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to grow with the company
