This role calls for professionalism, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe wherever you're needed.Flex Officers will be trained at Deerfield Beach and may receive additional training for SOC, Aviation, and other assignments.What We're Looking ForWe hire for our core values – and we mean it:Service – You understand that exceptional service builds trust and reputationIntegrity – You are accountable, honest, and self-awareInnovation – You look for better ways to get the job doneDrive – You bring 100% effort and push through obstaclesCommitment – You dedicate yourself to the missionKey ResponsibilitiesReport to assigned client sites across the portfolio based on operational need, which may include SOC, Aviation, and JM Lexus assignmentsDeter criminal activity and misconduct at each assigned postRespond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teamsMake periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized personsPrepare clear, concise, and accurate reports for each site workedOperate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications, and use emailDemonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and appearance across varied assignmentsManage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high-pressure environmentMaintain reasonable availability for shift offers based on operational needsPerform other duties as determined by the security supervisorQualificationsApplicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following:Two years of customer service experienceOne year of security experienceLaw enforcement experienceCorrections experienceMilitary experienceRequirementsValid FL Security D LicenseValid FL Driver's LicenseHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to pass a criminal background check and drug testTechnology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use emailStrong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearanceExperience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demandsFamiliarity with report writingExcellent surveillance and observation skillsAbove-average written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the publicWillingness and ability to work across multiple client sites and shifts based on operational needTrained in CPR and First Aid preferredCompensation & Benefits$21.50 per hourPaid time offMedical insuranceDental insurancePaid holidaysPension / retirement benefitsSkills-enhancing training and opportunities for career growth and promotionIf you want a team that invests in you, show us you're ready to invest in it.Marksman Security LLC Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V#IND3
