We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our small but growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, local codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC), and project specifications. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic professional eager to apply their electrical experience in diverse environments while contributing to high-quality project outcomes.ResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints.Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute precise wiring layouts and system configurations.Work on construction sites performing wiring for residential & commercial buildings, industrial facilities, or renovation projects while adhering to safety protocols.Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately.Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage circuits in accordance with NEC standards.Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman teams to coordinate installation activities effectively.Maintain detailed records of work performed and ensure all installations meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.RequirementsValid Journeyman Electrician license4+ years of hands-on electrical experienceValid driver's license & reliable transportationHands-on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation systems.Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), ohmmeters, and other testing devices.Construction site experience working on various projects including renovations and new builds.Knowledge of NEC standards for electrical safety and installation practices.Ability to perform low voltage wiring tasks as well as high voltage system installations safely and efficiently.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues quickly.Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and interpreting technical schematics.Ability to work independently and as part of a team and oversee apprentices as needed.Benefits:401(k) matchingPaid time offSafety equipment providedSign On Bonus After 90 Days
