Job DescriptionThe Liquid Paint Operator prepares and applies liquid coatings to parts made from sheet metal and plate, they are responsible to clean, mask, and paint parts in a safe and efficient manner.Typical ResponsibilitiesClean and mask parts prior to paint, assure no weld splatter and laser oxideIdentify defects such as cracks, splits, poor welds for repairSelect and use appropriate application tools according to paint characteristicsApply liquid paint according to manufacturer recommendationsInspect part for paint defects and repair any defects before releasing part from areaMaintain tools used for painting tasksOther responsibilities as required and assigned.
