Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. Role and Responsibilities: Perform daily/monthly cash reporting and reconciliation. Participate actively in timely and efficient financial close process Execute journal entries and conduct thorough account reconciliations in the areas of cash, AR & AP. Assist with AP and AR overflow as needed. Misc projects as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. Assist with annual auditworking with Sr. staff on schedules and other requests. Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience Experience with Priority ERP or similar accounting software is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teams across various departments Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles Experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel Proactive problem-solving abilities and a strategic approach to financial challenges Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Genuine enjoyment in building and nurturing professional relationships Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Commitment to punctuality, dependability, and meeting established deadlines Willingness to work overtime during peak periods A dedication to professional growth and continuous learning.
