Sr. Software Engineer

DMI is looking for a skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to a groundbreaking internal platform that streamlines AI tool creation. This is a 100% remote position with a one-year contract and potential for extension.What You’ll Do:Develop web applications using cutting-edge cloud technologies (AWS).Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange.Craft user-friendly interfaces for a seamless user experience.Collaborate with engineers to tackle technical challenges.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality.You’re a great fit if you have:4+ years of software engineering experience.2+ years of web development experience (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks).Proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns.Extensive experience with React (or similar libraries like Angular, Vue.js).Strong Python skills for building APIs using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs using Node.js (or similar).Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, Azure Functions).Experience with Test-Driven Development and clean coding practices.Familiarity with automation tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Bonus Points:Consulting experienceExperience with Agile methodologiesSoftware architecture design knowledgeExperience leading small to medium-sized development teamsBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageRemote work environmentOpportunity to work on a cutting-edge AI platformDiverse and rewarding work environmentDMI is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity and inclusion.
