In this role, you’ll contribute to site development projects through site planning, utility design, stormwater management, and the preparation of construction documents. You’ll also attend municipal meetings, collaborate with subconsultants, and support the permitting and approval process.This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented civil engineer who enjoys problem-solving, teamwork, and mentoring others—someone who is looking to take greater ownership of their work in a supportive and innovative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop site layout, grading, stormwater systems, and utility designs using Civil 3DPrepare construction documents, drainage reports, SWPPPs, and permit submittalsCollaborate with Project Managers and attend municipal/client meetingsCoordinate with subconsultants and internal design teamsSupport and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative project environmentAssist with project scheduling and maintain accountability for deadlinesManage client communication to ensure quality, consistency, and trustQualificationsB.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university3+ years of experience in site development or land development designEIT certification preferred; PE track encouragedProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DStrong understanding of site grading, stormwater design, and utility layoutExcellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skillsEnthusiasm for mentoring, teamwork, and continuous learningWhy You’ll Love Working HereProfessional GrowthTuition reimbursement & on-demand trainingClear career paths & promotion opportunitiesMentorship from peers and leadersCulture & CommunityBook club, happy hours & social eventsInclusive, collaborative environmentAnnual all-team meeting & donation match programRewarding CompensationCompensation: $80,000-$95,000The salary range provided is a general guideline.
