Through hands-on programming, mentorship, and real-world venture development, EOT empowers the next generation of leaders to build solutions that impact their communities.Position OverviewThe Graphic Design Intern (Volunteer) will play a critical part in shaping the visual identity of the event conducted by Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow.  You will use your creativity and design skills to develop engaging materials that capture the event's energy and inspire student participation.This is a volunteer position for educational and professional development purposes only and does not create an employment relationship or entitlement to wages or benefits.Key Responsibilities:Develop a cohesive visual identity for our events:Design eye-catching logos, posters, flyers, and social media graphics that align with EOT's overall branding and the event's theme.Create a visually appealing color palette and typography style guide for consistent application across all marketing materials.Explore design concepts for presentations, signage, and other event visuals (as needed).Collaborate with the Event Manager and Marketing Team:Work closely with the Event Management team to understand the event's goals and target audience and develop event themes, concepts, and messaging, translating them into captivating visual designs.Work collaboratively with the marketing team and internal/external clients to discuss and determine the best design strategy and approach given the context of any marketing projectProvide design feedback and suggestions to ensure all marketing materials convey the desired message effectively.Design digital and print marketing materials:Design engaging graphics and multimedia content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, to promote events, campaigns, and initiatives to maximize audience engagement and brand visibility.Design visually appealing email blasts to reach students and generate excitement.Design print and digital marketing collateral to support outreach and engagement efforts, such as brochures, newsletters, and fundraising materials.Create a visually compelling landing page or event website (if applicable).Develop impactful messaging and storytelling through visual elements.Maintain brand consistency in event branding and theming.Provided support for website design and optimization, as well as photography and videography.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design/Visual Communications, or Marketing with 2+ years of graphic design experienceProficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or Sketch.HTML experience is a plusMotion graphics and video production and editing experience a plusKnowledge of website development platforms a plusStrong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative graphic design work across various mediums and platforms.Excellent understanding of visual communication principles, typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and branding strategies.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Passion for social impact, entrepreneurship, and empowering underrepresented communities.Learning OutcomesBy the end of this experience, the intern will:Gain hands-on experience in graphic design and visual communication within the nonprofit sector.Obtain valuable experience working on a high-profile event for a non-profit organization.Expand your portfolio with diverse and impactful design projects showcasing your creativity and skills.Collaborate with a passionate and mission-driven team committed to creating positive social change.Access to mentorship, networking opportunities, and professional development resources to support your growth as a graphic designer.Note: This is a volunteer role for educational purposes (unpaid)How to Apply:Apply through LinkedIn.
