Services include comprehensive, fee-based financial planning and investment advisory, such as retirement planning, education funding strategies, holistic wealth management, and risk management solutions.The firm is seeking an Investment Specialist / Investment Operations Associate to support investment operations, client service, and Advisor collaboration, while also contributing to investment analysis and case preparation. This role offers strong growth potential, including opportunities to take on leadership responsibilities and mentor others as the team expands.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Investment Operations professional located in The Woodlands, TX. The primary responsibilities include managing day-to-day investment operations, analyzing financial data, developing and implementing investment strategies, and supporting the broader investment management process. The role will require collaboration with internal teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with the company’s integrated planning philosophy.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end preparation and execution of investment account documentation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all onboarding and maintenance activitiesPrepare and process all investment account paperwork and maintain client records, performance reports, and required documentation in alignment with firm and regulatory standardsCoordinate and curate materials for quarterly and annual client reviews, partnering closely with AdvisorsDevelop customized investment proposals and Investment Policy Statements tailored to client goals and long-term strategiesCollaborate with Advisors on asset allocation, portfolio construction, and financial planning initiativesContribute to investment analysis, including portfolio reviews, allocation insights, and supporting research effortsSupport case preparation alongside Advisors and planning team to develop client recommendations and strategiesExecute trades across client portfolios with precision and alignment to investment modelsServe as a key liaison with custodians, back-office teams, and internal stakeholders to address operational requests and streamline workflowsAdminister and evaluate client risk tolerance assessments and incorporate findings into portfolio recommendationsEnsure compliance requirements are consistently met and upheld across all processesDeliver a high-touch, relationship-driven client experience and serve as a trusted point of contactCommunicate directly with clients and prospects to facilitate account setup, documentation completion, and follow-up requestsBalance analytical responsibilities with operational execution and client service tasksSupport onboarding, training, and development of new team members, with potential for future leadership responsibilitiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fieldPreferred licenses: SIE, Series 7, Series 63, & Life & Health Insurance 3–7+ years of experience in financial services, investment operations, or investment managementCFA candidate preferred, or interest in pursuingStrong knowledge of investment strategies, portfolio construction, and financial principlesAnalytical mindset with ability to interpret data and support decision-makingDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and client service abilitiesHighly organized with strong time management and ability to meet deadlinesInterest or experience in mentoring and developing others
