Sr. Software Engineer (JavaScript/Node.js)

Job Role:
Sr. Software Engineer (JavaScript/Node.js)---Fulltime role with MphasisLocation: Philadelphia, PA – 3 Days Onsite 2 days RemoteJob Description: Candidate is expected be hands on in web services, server-side experience. You will be analyzing business requirements, interact with different business teams and will be a part of the solution design process. You will be working on Javascript, Node JS and NOSQL etc. Will be a part of core development team and will be responsible for developing APIs/components. You will be a part of scaling applications and database infrastructure processes. Candidates will partner with the Kore.ai team for the development of new conversational AI virtual assistants across the various industry domains.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will work in high traffic / real-time Enterprise apps
- Will be a part of Agile Methodologies, Design Patterns, and Software Revision Control Systems
- Will gain experience in scaling applications and database infrastructure
- Will work in a very innovative and creative environment MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- 4+ years of solid development experience and should have worked on open-source platforms
- Must have strong expertise in JavaScript & Node JS
- Good Knowledge of Python, AI, NLP, ML, Gen AI, Chat bots will be added advantage
- Skillset should have the following JSON, Redis / MongoDB, Web Sockets
- Experience in Web Services using REST, SOAP
- Knowledge of different authentication and authorization techniques
- Strong knowledge of code documentation and handover OTHER SKILLS WE'D APPRECIATE:
- Experience with git version control system
- Exposure to any of the cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure
- Knowledge on Linux / Unix flavors EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
