Kentro is hiring for a Senior Applications/Systems Analyst Lead to support Veterans Affairs ESOM contract. In this role, you will serve as the architecture authority and cross‑functional integrator-guiding the design of secure, scalable, and consistent endpoint solutions that directly support our client's mission. You will partner closely with senior engineers, security architects, integration teams, and executive stakeholders to influence major technical decisions, streamline delivery, and ensure the highest levels of service quality across a rapidly evolving, strategic environment. As the Sr. Applications/Systems Analyst Lead, you will bridge application delivery and endpoint engineering, ensuring applications are packaged, integrated, and deployed seamlessly across the enterprise device ecosystem. You will provide technical leadership in application compatibility, endpoint integration, and deployment standards-driving consistency, stability, and scalability across the Desktop and Device Engineering function. Location: Onsite Albany LabsAlbany, NY Salary Range: $130,000-140,000/annually. Factors influencing pay within this range include geography, market demand, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. ResponsibilitiesLead application packaging, testing, and deployment efforts to ensure compatibility across enterprise endpoint environmentsDefine and maintain standards for application integration with endpoint platforms (e.g., Windows, MacOS, mobile)Oversee application compatibility testing and remediation to support enterprise-wide deploymentsPartner with endpoint engineering teams to align application requirements with device baselines and lifecycle processesCoordinate with security, identity, network, and infrastructure teams to ensure applications meet enterprise compliance and performance requirementsProvide technical oversight and quality assurance for application deployment activities across the teamSupport release planning and deployment readiness for new and updated applicationsTroubleshoot complex application and endpoint integration issues and provide guidance to technical staffDocument processes, procedures, and technical standards to support repeatable and scalable deliveryParticipate in agile ceremonies, working sessions, and cross-functional coordination efforts within a multi-contractor, agency-led environment ReportingSoftware Packaging Delivery: Ensure delivery of fully tested, validated, and documented application packages ready for enterprise deploymentTesting and Validation: Oversee application testing processes to confirm compatibility, performance, and compliance across endpoint environmentsDeployment Readiness: Provide status on application readiness, risks, and dependencies tied to release and deployment schedulesIssue Tracking and Resolution: Report on application-related issues, root cause analysis, and resolution timelinesMetrics and Insights: Deliver clear, concise reporting on packaging throughput, deployment success rates, and application performance trendsStakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to leadership and cross-functional teams on progress, risks, and decisions required Supervisory DutiesProvide technical leadership and day-to-day guidance to Desktop Device Technical Staff supporting application packaging and deployment activitiesEstablish quality standards and review outputs to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with engineering requirementsSupport task prioritization, workload distribution, and coordination across team membersMentor junior staff and contribute to the development of technical capabilities across the teamCollaborate with other leads to ensure alignment across endpoint engineering, security, and infrastructure efforts QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Endpoint Engineering, Endpoint Management, or Enterprise IT OperationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent. 8 additional years of experience may be substituted for the educational requirement for a total of 13+ years of experience.Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing enterprise endpoint management platforms such as Intune, MECM/SCCM, JAMF, or equivalent toolsStrong experience designing and delivering reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics using tools such as SQL and Power BIProven ability to lead technical teams and initiatives in complex, enterprise environmentsExperience integrating endpoint management solutions with security, identity, and infrastructure servicesStrong understanding of endpoint lifecycle management, including build, patching, configuration, compliance, and retirementAbility to translate technical data into clear, concise insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience working in a client-facing environment, with the ability to build trust and influence decision-making Clearance Requirement:US Citizen or Green card holderWilling and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust ClearanceMust meet updated ID requirements: https://www.gsa.gov/technology/it-contract-vehicles-and-purchasing-programs/federal-credentialing-services/get-appointment-help/bring-required-documentsIf you do not currently meet the ID requirements outlined, you must be willing and able to update your current forms of ID in a timely manner to complete the suitability process successfully.
