This is a stable, forward-thinking company setting the global standard for high-reliability energy solutions, offering a collaborative environment focused on growth, safety, and industry-leading quality standards.Job Duties: Lead and manage the development, implementation, and oversight of the Project Risk Management strategy, processes, and procedures for the organization.Continuously analyze project and risk data to provide data-driven insights that inform organizational planning, forecasting, and critical decision-making.Organize and facilitate quantitative risk analyses of impacts to project cost and schedule, including conducting what-if and root cause analyses.Identify and resolve discrepancies in risk data across multiple platforms, ensuring the accuracy of databases and program reporting standards.Minimize project vulnerabilities by leading risk identification and assessment in support of the commercial proposal process and maintaining standard risk checklists.Motivate, train, and mentor assigned project risk managers and team members on best practices and the use of specialized risk software and tools.Ensure consistent application of risk management frameworks across multiple departments for both small and large-scale projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor risk management implementation and transfer risks between various organizational processes as needed.Drive continuous improvement by developing new workflows and reports that streamline digital processes and improve project management tools.Prepare regular reports and reporting templates to inform senior management of risk status, handling strategies, and handling selection.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business is required.Minimum of 8 years of full-time Risk Management experience in a project/program management or engineering environment; Nuclear industry experience is preferred.Proven ability to lead complex projects with multiple work phases with minimal supervision and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.Strong technical proficiency in risk and planning tools such as ARM, Primavera P6, PRISM, Primavera Risk Analysis, and Palisade @Risk.Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex technical information clearly.Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance regulations and standards such as 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing demands while adhering to a strict safety and quality culture.Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 regulations.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
