Qualified candidates will have supervisory experience in a production environment. Retail experience is a plus! Bilingual- English/Spanish preferred to help support and serve our Spanish-speaking customers and employees.Why City Thrift? Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Communicate regularly, operating targets and progress against standards and expectations.Hire, select, teach, train, develop, coach and counsel employees as needed.Motivate the team regularly and ensure efficient operations by troubleshooting bottlenecks and working side by side with team members through the processes.Ability to handle the physical requirements of sitting, walking, bending, squatting, climbing and twisting on an intermittent or continuous basisUtilize all employees efficiently and effectively to achieve production quotasDevelops staff by recruiting talent, engaging employees, orienting new hires, and training to company policy and proceduresMonitors performance through the use of employee attainment recordkeepingEducation, Experience, Training Required:High School Diploma or GED preferredMust be at least 21 years of age2-5 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably with a big box chainConsumer retail or thrift businesses preferred2 years or more of managing teams through goal setting, productivity measurements and achieving targeted resultsPast line management experience not limited to hiring, termination, performance review, and policy adherence.Bilingual- English/Spanish is preferredThrift retail experience is a plus!
