As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials to and from production lines, storage areas, and trailers. This is a direct-hire opportunity.What We OfferPay of $19.69 per hour, plus $1.50 shift differential for 2nd & 3rd shifts2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM3rd Shift | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM12-Hour Rotating 2-2-3 schedule | 7:00 AM - 7:30 PMHealth benefits, including telehealth medical services.Opportunity for advancementReferral bonusesWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED preferred3-4 years of experience in Powered Industrial Truck operation (sit-down and stand-up forklift)3+ months of experience in Powered Industrial Truck operationActive forklift certification/license preferredKnowledge of SAP/ERP systems preferredExperience in a fast-paced, industrial environment using Lean manufacturing methodologiesSolid computer skills, including inventory software, Excel, and WordStrong safety aptitude with great attention to detail and accuracyHigh sense of urgency, with an initiative to meet deadlinesExceptional sound judgment and decision-making skillsProficient in interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work alongside and communicate effectively with various levels of the companyAbility to perform required tasks while standing for the duration of the shift, lifting up to 35 pounds, climbing onto and off of lifts, walking long distances, being exposed to varying temperatures (non-climate-controlled environment), bending, crouching, twisting, and performing repetitive motionsWhat You'll Do as a Material HandlerSafely operate powered material handling equipment, such as sit-down forklifts, stand-up lifts, tuggers, and electric jacksLoad and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves manuallyEnter information into SAP and other required systems accurately and efficiently.Support 5S and housekeeping activitiesUtilize appropriate deviation areas, hold tags, etc., to process defective parts through nonconforming material procedures.Adhere to FIFO standards throughout all storage areas and material flow pointsWear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and follow box-cutting safety protocolsPerform other related duties as assigned
