Electrical Construction Engineer

Our client is seeking an Electrical Construction Engineer to support a semiconductor construction project focused on Ultra Pure Water (UPW) systems. This role will work closely with construction leadership to oversee electrical systems, piping-related controls, and overall project execution from design through commissioning and final turnover.This position is ideal for an engineer with strong electrical and industrial construction experience who can coordinate across multiple stakeholders while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.Industry: Semiconductor ConstructionLocation: In-OfficeRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction or semiconductor projectsMinimum 3 years of supervisory or coordination experienceExperience with industrial electrical systems, UPW systems, or similar facility systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and specificationsKnowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standardsFamiliarity with OSHA safety protocols (OSHA 30 preferred)Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced construction environmentPhysical ability to work on construction sites as neededAbility to travel to project sites if requiredResponsibilitiesSupport electrical construction activities for UPW systems from design through commissioning and turnoverCoordinate and supervise subcontractors for electrical installation and related system workReview electrical drawings, schematics, and project documentationMonitor construction progress and prepare progress reports for stakeholdersPerform constructability reviews and escalate issues proactivelyCoordinate with multiple subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and scheduling alignmentVerify installation quality and support electrical testing (continuity, insulation resistance, etc.)Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and schedule updatesParticipate in meetings, RFIs, and change order reviewsEnsure compliance with codes, standards, and safety regulationsSupport development of construction procedures, method statements, and work instructionsManage subcontractor performance, productivity, and reportingPromote a collaborative, high-performance team environmentThis job description is a general outline of the position and may not include all responsibilities or requirements.
