NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Controller to join our client’s team in Winter Garden, FL. This is an Onsite, Direct Hire position.SALARY: $130,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience)Unfortunately, at this time our client is unable to sponsor or transfer visas. Only candidates authorized to work in the US without sponsorship should apply.RequirementsStrong technical accounting foundation with a thorough understanding of debits/credits, reconciliations, journal entries, and transaction tracingPublic accounting or audit experience, comfortable working directly with auditors and tax professionalsExperience managing multi-entity and multi-location accounting, including inter-company transactionsProven ability to lead as a player-coach, overseeing and mentoring staff while remaining hands-onExpertise in month-end close processes, identifying missing or incomplete items, and improving manual close workflowsResponsibilitiesOversee and support the accounting team’s daily operationsReview and reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactionsManage and prepare for month-end closing activitiesReview transaction coding and ensure correct accounting treatmentHandle fixed assets and intercompany transactionsSupport accounting for new leases and complex transactionsIdentify and resolve errors or inconsistencies in financial dataCollaborate with auditors and tax professionalsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to staff accountantsHelp prepare the organization for upcoming ERP implementationImprove accounting processes and documentationSupport M&A-related accounting activitiesNextpath Workforce SolutionsNextPath is a strategic talent partner connecting skilled professionals with organizations driving innovation and growth.
