This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your organizational skills and hospitality passion will shine, creating memorable moments for every guest. *Duties* * Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a positive first impression of the restaurant * Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as Yelp Guest Manager * Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and reduce wait times * Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing accurate information and taking reservations * Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly to guests * Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization at the host stand and waiting areas * Support staff by managing guest flow during busy periods, ensuring efficient table turnover *Skills* * Proven experience as a Host or Hostess in a restaurant or food service environment * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally * Familiarity with restaurant table management systems like Yelp Guest Manager * Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions * Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail * Basic math skills for managing reservations, guest counts, and wait times * Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices * Organizational skills to manage reservations, guest flow, and seating arrangements effectively * Experience with POS systems such as POS terminals or Micros POS is preferred * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining hospitality excellence Join us in creating welcoming atmospheres where every guest feels appreciated!
