Toddler Lead Teacher

Wee Kids is seeking committed applicants who are passionate about early childhood care and education. Responsibilities: - Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children. - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities. - Teach basic literacy, numeracy, and social skills to prepare children for kindergarten. - Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians. - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment. - Maintain a clean and organized classroom. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Having CDA is a plus! - Previous experience working with preschool-aged children. - Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development. - Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children. - Ability to work collaboratively with parents/guardians to support each child's individual needs. Skills: - Tutoring - Literacy education - Experience with children - Physical education - Special education - Childcare - Lesson planning - Child welfare - Toddler care Required Qualifications: Prior classroom experience (Infant, Toddler, PreSchool) Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices Strong written and communication skills, ability to communicate with parents must have a friendly, warm and loving demeanor understands and abides by NJ state licensing and health department standards strong people skills- has the ability to effectively interact and communicate with all -children, peers, parents and community organized, motivated and reliable must be able to lift up to 40lbs. committed to ongoing professional development experience working with Procare a plus last, but most important- MUST truly love children, want to make a difference in a child's life and value the importance of quality early childhood care and learning experiences.
