Operations Manager (Freight Forwarding)

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect full-cycle Air & Ocean import/export operationsLead, coach, and support operations team membersDevelop and refine SOPs to improve efficiency and accuracyAllocate workloads and ensure timely execution of tasksWork cross-functionally with Sales and Accounting teamsMonitor KPIs and generate operational reportsOversee NVOCC documentation including HBL, MBL, AMS, ISF, AESMaintain compliance with U.S. Customs and international trade regulationsTrack shipment progress, carrier performance, and service qualityAddress operational challenges and ensure a high level of client satisfactionCoordinate closely with overseas agents, carriers, trucking companies, and warehousesUtilize CargoWise for shipment processing, tracking, billing, and reportingEnsure accuracy of shipment data and documentationIdentify opportunities to improve system usage and workflowsQualifications5+ years in freight forwarding/NVOCC operations2+ years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of import/export regulationsCargoWise experience (required)Bilingual English/Spanish (required)Proven leadership and problem-solving skills
