Heavy Equipment Operator

Heavy Equipment Operator/Crane OperatorWatertown Iron and Metal Co recruiting for a Heavy Equipment Operator/Crane Operator at our Watertown, SD location. The Operator is responsible for collecting, counting, loading, unloading, storing, stacking, sorting, weighing, figuring (using math skills), and separating a variety of different recyclable scrap materials: tires, batteries, and metals by gauge, size, shape, condition, color, or alloy by utilizing heavy equipment/cranes. The candidate be required to prepare those materials for various production processes from loading/unloading trucks, to feeding shredder machines to break down the various metals. Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience.
