Account Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW:The core of this position is to develop and execute account management strategies that deliver profitable sales growth with reasonable risk for a defined set of Original Equipment Manufacturer customers which are leaders in the data center construction market.This position offers a base salary of $100,000 - $130,000 annually DOE, plus commissions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:The primary responsibilities of this position include customer project execution, problem solving, strategy development, and reporting. A summary of each responsibility is included, but not limited to, the below:Customer Project Execution: A successful account manager will successfully execute customer projects by creating & maintaining customer communications, internal communications, and customer account playbooks. Customer Communications: Develop a regular cadence, with defined agenda, of ongoing customer engagements including all levels of organization; buyer through executive.Internal Communications: Develop a regular, and efficient, cadence of internal communications to gather required information, maintain broader teams focus on the customer, and develop company capabilities.Playbook: Record, and lead execution of, written processes and procedures to deliver customer success.Problem Solving: As the owner of key account relationships a successful account manager will proactively engage in all levels, up and down, of escalation and problem solving both internal and external to company. Problem solving will include external representation of all Design Ready Controls departments.Strategy Development: As an account manager in companies’ largest business segment (Original Equipment Manufacturers), the account manager will develop strategies to increase business within assigned accounts, identify opportunities at new accounts, and transfer best practices to related business areas.Reporting: The account manager will be expected to complete basic sales reporting including pipeline, opportunity summaries, and customer efficiency analysis.
