Quality Assurance Tester

Title: ERP TesterDuration: 6-9 Contract with potential extensionLocation: Oakbrook Terrace, ILDetails: Hybrid Role (1-2 days onsite per week, ramping up in January once testing begins)Compensation: $50.00/ HR W2, some PTO available after 90 days.Responsibilities: Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, and client resources to understand business and testing requirements.Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive test scripts, focusing on functional and end-to-end business process testing (SIT).Ensure test scripts are reusable, maintainable, efficient, and provide requirements traceability across all phases of testing.Create detailed test plans and schedules based on business processes.Assist with test preparation activities, ensuring security and data requirements are defined, testing tools are ready, and rooms and resources are available.Maintain and update test scripts during test cycles.Ensure adherence to quality standards and processes as defined by the testing strategy.Manage the testing defect resolution process and testers through testing cycles.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.5+ years of ERP testing experience (Infor, SAP, Oracle) including 3rd party integrations using FTP and EDI technologies.Strong understanding of various testing types and methodologies (Functional, SIT, UAT).Experience with Excel for testing purposes.Strong writing and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.Proficient in MS Office Suite, Teams, and SharePoint, including advanced Excel skills.Working knowledge of Jira or comparable collaborative tools.Infor M3 experience is a plus.
