Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Newnan, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,930 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: IMC Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Travel experience Description: Unit does not accept first-time travelers. Weekend coverage is required; every other weekend. Floating may occur within the facility to other acute care units as needed. Full compliance is required to start on time; delays in compliance could push back the start date by two weeks. If an assignment period includes one major holiday, the traveler is expected to work it. For two major holidays, the traveler must work both. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year’s Eve/Day. Complete onboarding requirements must be fulfilled within 48 hours of contract signing. All compliance documents must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to the start of the assignment. Modules are completed during orientation and vary by specialty. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. The unit's daily census is approximately 17 with 19 total beds. Patient ratios are 4-5 per nurse. Interdisciplinary support includes several services such as physical therapy and respiratory services. The role involves various skills including cardiac telemetry and IV management. It is necessary to adhere to protocols concerning the management of dysrhythmias and isolation precautions.
