What Will You Do? As a Civil Engineer involved in Design activities at REI, you can expect to: Develop plans from concept through construction documents Prepare grading, utility, and stormwater management plans Compile project cost estimates Research and interpret regulations impacting project requirements Support the project regulatory review and approval process Assist in the development of project proposals As a Civil Engineer involved in Construction Administration at REI, you can expect to: Read and administer WisDOT roadway plans and specifications Lead or contribute in the management and inspection of road and bridge projects Document inspection and material quality observations Communicate with team members as well as contractors, business owners, and the general public Conduct materials testing for quality assurance including aggregate sampling, concrete testing, and nuclear gauge asphaltic density testing Work both independently and within a team atmosphere to accomplish project goals Who Are We Looking For? Ideal candidates will have: A Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Fundamentals of Engineering exam pass/eligible Computer skills with experience in using Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydraulic modeling 0-4 years of experience Attention to detail and strong communication skills Join REI: Where Small Teams Make Big Differences At REI, we take pride in our work and in our team.
