We do what we do because of one simple truth: life is better when it's safe.The Commercial Installer will be responsible for overseeing the installation of commercial security systems, including intrusion detection, fire detection, video surveillance and access control. They will work closely with sales and operations and other team members to ensure that installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.What's In It For You:Attractive compensation packageComprehensive benefit package starting day 1Comprehensive trainingCompany vanOpportunity to grow within the companyWhat You'll Be Doing:Work alone or as part of a team to complete installations.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documentsInstall cabling, field devices and controls according to specificationsEnsure that installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsCoordinate with managers and other team members to ensure that installations are completed according to scheduleTrain and mentor junior installersEnsure that all safety protocols are followedProfessionally interact with owners and end users including training stake holders in system operation.Commission cloud-based systems on user's mobile devices and train them in the operation of those systems.Responsible for scheduled service calls and conducting inspections. Also performs fire alarm inspections and testing per NFPA 72 standards.What You'll Need:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of commercial security installation experience.Willingness to obtain NICET certification(s) as required.Possess or be able to obtain fire alarm technician licenses for Ohio and West Virginia.Strong leadership skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documentsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to lift heavy equipment and materialsValid driver's license and reliable transportationWho We AreThe Armstrong Group is a family owned and operated collection of diverse companies.
