Water Restoration Crew Chief

We are looking for a responsible, positive, and professional individual with experience in the water restoration industry who can communicate clearly with customers and team members. Overview: Monitors, inspects and completes tasks for Water Restoration jobs to ensure completion of extracting, drying, demolition and various restoration activities. Prepare and review documentation to include notes, photos and documents according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies. Explains processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to resolution in person to customers. Key Strengths:Customer Oriented: The ability to determine each customer's needs and to act accordingly with a sense of urgency.Professionalism & Communication: Clear, confident communication with homeowners, property managers, and contractorsResourcefulness and Adaptability: The ability to remain fully functional by creating or adapting to changing circumstances (people, procedure, environment)Work Ethic: The belief in the moral benefit and importance of the work we perform and its inherent ability to strengthen character.Issue Resolution: The ability to solve or diffuse disputes or concerns quickly and efficiently.Positive Attitude: Brings energy and reliability to a fast-paced, hands-on environment Job Responsibilities:Inspect, evaluate, and accurately document property damage due to water/sewage in residential and commercial environmentsRemove standing water from affected area using extraction methodsSetup appropriate amounts of equipment to properly dry structure.Demolition / removal of affected building materials as directedPhysical ability to move furniture and carryout other moderate physical activities as requested on the jobsiteExplain processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to resolution in person to customers using printed materials as a guide with or without supervisorCompletes assigned jobs according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each jobPerforms water damage repair to include water extraction, pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, light construction and demolition as directed by supervisorInspects jobs after completion and obtains customer signatures for approval purposes, and requests payments when necessaryPerforms daily monitoring and tasks on assigned water jobs to residential and/or commercial customers with urgencyResponsible for making daily adjustments to the drying plan based on meter readingsResolves issues with customers, communicates customer issues, daily job activities with supervisor and key company staffPrepares documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies Experience & Requirements:2+ years of water restoration industry experienceExperience completing documentation for water damage jobs, including photos, notes, and insurance-related recordsAbility to inspect properties and assess total damages accuratelyExperience communicating with homeowners, property managers, and contractorsExperience with Xactimate preferredIICRC Certification (WRT preferred) is a plus but not requireMust be professional with strong communication skillsWillingness to be on-call, work evenings (past 3 PM), and handle physically demanding, hands-on workNot afraid of dirty or challenging job site conditionsValid driver's license with clean MVRAbility to pass background check and drug screening Compensation & Benefits:$20 - $25 per hour based on experienceOvertime PayBonus Pay Premium Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) matching Paid for Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program Company Vehicle Fuel Card Service Area: Metro Atlanta Area Apply online with resume
