The Position: We are seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Developer with deep expertise in .NET (C#), Angular, and API-driven architectures to support the development of a modern, scalable platform. This role will focus on building and maintaining an Angular Front End, Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native applications on AWS, while integrating with MS SQL Server data stores. This is a high-impact role supporting the continued evolution of our core platform. Please note, this is a 1099 contract role (independent contractor), not a full-time employee position. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET (C# / .NET Core 8+) Build and implement BFF layer to optimize client-server communication for Angular applications Develop and maintain RESTful APIs Develop responsive UI components using Angular (v16+) Deploy and manage applications in AWS environments (API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito) Design and optimize SQL Server databases and queries Implement secure coding practices including OAuth2, JWT, and encryption Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing Participate in architecture decisions Required Qualifications Fast learner with ability to get up to speed quickly and efficiently Ability to thrive in a highly productive environment Strong collaborative skills with willingness to take ownership and responsibility 8+ years of professional software development experience Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core 8+ Strong experience with Angular (v16+) Strong experience in MS SQL Server Experience with REST APIs Hands-on experience with AWS Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines Experience with Agile development methodologies Preferred Qualifications Experience with high-volume transactional systems Experience with Docker Experience with BFF Knowledge of domain-driven design and clean architecture Experience with observability tools and regulated environments Experience with Kendo UI Technical Skills Summary Backend: C#, .NET Core, REST APIs Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, Signals, NgRx Cloud: AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, S3) Database: MS SQL Server DevOps: Docker, Azure Devops, CI/CD, Git Key Competencies Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Ability to design systems for scalability and performance Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ownership mindset with attention to detail Ability to lead technical initiatives Compensation $70–$90 per hour (1099), depending on experience and scope Final rate will be determined based on qualifications and engagement structure What Success Looks Like Delivery of scalable, high-performance applications Clean, maintainable code aligned with architecture standards Improved API performance and frontend responsiveness Strong collaboration across teams Additional Details This is a 1099 independent contractor role (not benefits-eligible employment) Engagement is expected to last 6 to 12 months Contractors operate as independent service providers and are expected to provide their own equipment
